Hi loves. This week went by in a whirlwind honestly it's so crazy! School just started and I'm already spinning around in circles trying to come up with content for more than one blog, complete assignments and get my life together.
This look is actually the first look from my Autumn Lookbook video and it's one of my favourites of all time despite using pieces I don't often wear. I've been trying to push myself into wearing different things and though honestly I think someone a little thicker could pull this off better than I do I still like this look. It's a very comfy kinda thing and what's nice is that despite it's not being body hugging it still has gives across a feeling of power and confidence. The lace-ups and boyfriend jeans are something that I've been wanting to pair for while but I just threw on the jacket to give the outfit a little more presence. This waistcoat jacket is also very waist cinching and it always helps to add a little silhouette to an outfit, especially when it's distresses, oversized or heavily textured.
I really felt comfortable in this look, weirdly it felt like something I'd wear to get work done or run errands. I say weirdly because we all know that standard varsity attire is sweatpants and a hoodie but given the option of looking cute this would definitely be a go to. I don't wear waterfall styled jerseys a lot or waistcoats because I do think they make the vertically challenged ( like myself ) look somewhat shorter and stockier. After shooting this look though I'll definitely start exploring those two more.
As usual lovelies I hope you enjoyed this look. If you have any comments, videos/post requests don't feel shy to message me or comment below. Have a beautiful week!
