SPFW - Versace for Riachuelo

Gente (guys), this has been such an exciting year, we’ve had Rihanna for River Island, Jeremy Scott for Moschino, Alexander Wang for H&M and now we even have…. wait for it…Versace for Brazilian highstreet store Riachuelo

Versace guys!

We saw animal and insect prints as a major feature for Spring 2015 and Versace definitely incorporated this though with a seaside theme. Silk shirts, oversized bags and figure hugging two-set and dresses strutted down the catwalk with a colour palette to die for. Rich purples, golds, yellows, pinks and reds set on either white or black, really allowing the prints to pop.

Speaking of prints the one predominant one throughout the collection was that of a starfish (in varying colours), the perfect representation of their theme. The collection includes a few darker pieces as well, at times pairing all-black pieces with subtle yellow detailing.

The feminine shapes, textures and colourful prints are such beautiful themes for the collection. The seaside inspired print, brilliantly representing the country famous for it’s beach culture. Surety! ( I went crazy) when I saw Camilla Coelho rocking the two-piece at São Paulo Fashion week and I am definitely adding some of these pieces to my birthday wishlist for next year!
kisses!
